In providing a very "high end" public water system, we must wait for approval from TCEQ. We appreciate all the excitement about the development, all the visitors who have put their names on lots and all the patience while waiting for plat approval. (I am very grateful to those who have come on the weekends - it is a great excuse to visit the Welfare Cafe!)
Preliminary Plat approval is expected in December. For anyone who does not know, we must wait for final plat approval to sell lots. However, you are welcome to place your name on a lot or two. If you would like to do so, you will be the first to be called about that lot when final plat approval is complete.
Since some people are placing their name on more than 1 lot until they can decide on THE one, it is still very possible for you to have your first choice of lots. Call for lot availability. Please note lots are available only to licensed pilots.
A summary of deed restriction square footages: 2300 minimum sq. ft. on 1 story homes, 2800 sq ft on 2 story homes, 6,000 sq. ft. maximum; designer is working on hangar exterior models. The builders are very excited about our new "fly-in" community - a first for Kendall County.
This is our first fall in the Texas Hill Country. It has been stunning - beautiful fall colors and perfect weather. We have had our doors and windows open for weeks. On November 25 we attended the huge annual celebration "Christmas in Comfort" which featured 150 artists booths. They covered the entire historic district. After dark there was a lighted parade attended by what looked like every human in the Texas Hill Country! The free trolley ran all day and the grandchildren loved it.
